AlmostFinancial is a satirical stock analysis tool. Here's what that actually means, honestly.
🎯 Why this exists
Financial social media is full of confident-sounding takes — "this stock is a screaming buy," "sell
everything now" — delivered with certainty that the underlying data rarely supports. AlmostFinancial
pokes at that directly: it runs a real, if simple, scoring model on real market data, then delivers
the result with the same swagger as a finance influencer, jokes included.
The goal is to be funny about a genuine problem — overconfident financial takes — while being upfront
that this tool itself is exactly that: a take, not advice.
⚙️ What's real and what isn't
Real: the price data (Twelve Data for US stocks & crypto, IndianAPI for NSE/BSE stocks), the trend/momentum/sentiment scoring, and the resulting BUY/SELL/HOLD threshold logic.
Not real: the personality, the pop-culture references, the confidence-boosted swagger in the write-up. That's a generated commentary layer, not analysis.
The full mechanics are on the How It Works page — nothing about the
scoring is hidden.
🚫 What AlmostFinancial is not
Not a registered broker, exchange, or investment advisor (not with SEBI, the SEC, or anyone else).
Not personalized financial advice — it has no idea what you own, what you earn, or what you're saving for.
Not a prediction. Price trends described here can and do reverse without warning.
👋 Who's behind it
AlmostFinancial is built and maintained as a small independent project — not a financial firm, not a
fintech startup with a funding round to announce. If you want to know more or report a problem, see
the Contact page.
